ENVÍA PROTESTA A LA EMBAJADA DE ALEMANIA

La señora Sivia Cruz de Puebla, quien autorizó al Sendero del Peje para publicar su nombre, nos envía copia de la protesta que hizo llegar ayer a la embajada de Alemania.

Sirs, It has come to my attention that your government has congratulated Mr. Felipe Calderon as the new president of our country. Maybe, this is due to the fact that you are unaware of some issues provided by the Mexican law.
1. Mr. Calderon is not the rightful president of Mexico until the Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federacion (our maximum electoral tribunal) resolves that he is such.
2. As you might know, several doubts have arisen regarding the procedures followed by some electoral authorities during the past elections. Therefore, until these doubts have been totally cleared, no candidate can be congratulated and named new president. I sincerely hope that the above will be enough so that your government will withdraw a congratulation that highly offends the Mexican people. VOTE BY VOTE, POLL BY POLL.
